Originally from Japan, Suzi started dancing at very young age. She came to the UK at fourteen to study ballet, contemporary, jazz and musics at the Arts Educational School, Tring Park. She completed Grade 8 Piano and RAD Advanced 2 with Distinction.
A back injury then prevented her from further dancing, she went on to achieve her BSc in Economics Development at School of Oriental and African studies, University of London. At the same time, she also studied with Alan Herdman and gaining the Pilates Teachindg Certificate. In 2004 she began to teach ballet and played piano for classes, gained formal teaching status with the RAD's CBTS programme. Suzi then studied MSc in Dance Science at the Laban Institute, where she learnt about dancer's health and the prevention of injury to dancers. At Laban Institute, Suzi also learnt to apply anatomical and biomechanical principles to teaching ballet steps to optimising dancers' performance. Since she became a teacher, she achieved grade 8 RAD ballet examination with 100% Distinction. Suzi is currently a freelance ballet teacher at schools in and around London including her old school's outreach programme, Classical Ballet Academy of Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
Mona started to dance at age four and discovered her passion for classical ballet.
She graduated with Distinction from the prestigious School of Dance O . Bancila in Romania, and danced with the Romanian National Opera Iasi, performed in The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Giselle etc.
After 5 years of working as a professional dancer, she turned her head to teaching, fulfilling a passion she held since childhood. She has been teaching for prestigious ballet schools in and around London for over 7 years.
One thing that inspires Mona the most about dance is the fact that dance communicates beyond language barriers and speaks through emotions running deeper than word.
